How to use the materials

Read each lesson’s prerequisites and setup notes first, and check your operating system and tool versions. Work through the examples yourself, then use the exercises and completion criteria to check what you understand.

Revision dates and verification records

The content update date at the top of a lesson reflects the last modification of its WordPress manuscript. It does not mean that every example has been rerun in the latest environment. Where a lesson includes environment details or practice verification records, use those alongside your own results.

The books and online curriculum

The English curriculum is being edited into a book series for sequential study. The online curriculum and download pages provide lessons, supporting practice materials and reference appendices.

Use your own lab and the authorized learning environments specified in each lesson. When reporting an issue, include the lesson URL, environment, expected result and observed result.
